Cancellation Policy
EIA Events & Projects – Client Policy for Décor Services Thank you for choosing EIA Events & Projects. The following policy outlines the terms and conditions for all décor services provided. By booking our services, clients agree to the terms set out below. A formal Service Agreement/Contract will be issued and must be signed by the client to confirm any booking. 1. Booking & Deposit A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking. No services will be confirmed without this payment. The balance is due upon collection or before delivery of any décor items. Accepted payment methods: EFT, bank deposit, or mobile payment platforms. 2. Décor & Event Planning Décor services are standalone and do not include event planning, unless the full Event Planning Package is purchased. Add-ons and package upgrades must be confirmed and paid for no less than 7 days before the event date. 3. Communication All communication regarding bookings, changes, or special requests must be submitted in writing (email or WhatsApp). No verbal agreements will be honored unless confirmed in writing. 4. Client Responsibility & Liability The client is fully liable for any damage to or loss of EIA Events & Projects property (including décor, furniture, equipment) while in their possession or at the event site. Any loss or damage will be assessed and billed to the client within 7 working days. Equipment must be returned in the condition it was delivered; late returns may incur a penalty fee. 5. Force Majeure EIA Events & Projects is not liable for any failure to perform or deliver services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to: Acts of God (natural disasters, storms, floods) Civil unrest or political instability Pandemics, government restrictions or lockdowns Strikes, power outages, or venue-related issues In such cases, all reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule or adapt services. The non-refundable deposit remains non-refundable under these circumstances. 6. Contract Requirement A formal Service Agreement (Contract) will be issued to every client. No booking is confirmed until the contract is signed and the deposit is paid. The contract is legally binding under the laws of the Republic of South Africa and enforceable in accordance with South African legislation.
